Digital transformation is powered by technologies such as generative Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT). At the core of the potential of these technologies is data processing and analytics.

This reality means that companies are at a critical inflection point because they must embrace data-driven decision making if they want to stay competitive and build stronger customer relationships. In short, those who cannot capitalize on their data will be left behind.

Tableau, the leading company in the creation and management of dashboards, introduced its new tool based on generative Artificial Intelligence: Tableau GPT. The power of generative AI lies in its ability to perform natural language calculations, suggest appropriate charts and visualizations, and generate automatic descriptions of data sources.

Tableau GPT automates data analysis, preparation and governance by providing contextual instructions within the product, simplifying and streamlining workflows. This is nothing less than a strong reduction of the technical barrier to entry that helps reduce repetitive tasks for a team. For example, you can generate visualizations for sales leaders based on natural language prompts that show real-time progress against their quota, along with recommendations to help them meet targets.

GMP IT advises on creation and management of Tableau dashboards to those who wish to focus on the leading platform in business intelligence. GMP has an extensive experience in IT consulting in the region. Metalsa, Provincia Leasing, Sumitomo, Marsh, Dana, General Electric and Nufarm are some of the companies that rely on their services.

Best tools for extracting ERP data from Oracle Fusion Cloud https://gmpitconsulting.com.ar/en/best-tools-for-extracting-erp-data-from-oracle-fusion-cloud/ https://gmpitconsulting.com.ar/en/best-tools-for-extracting-erp-data-from-oracle-fusion-cloud/#comments Fri, 28 Apr 2023 13:46:46 +0000 http://gmpitconsulting.com.ar/?p=2073 For a company with different data storage systems, knowing which are the best ways to extract that information is key. A brief review of the four most common tools.

To extract data from Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP the correct extraction method must be chosen, depending on the use case and the destination of that data. Many times a company has different data storage systems that include Oracle Cloud ERP or third-party systems, and it is necessary to combine them for analysis. Learn about the best tools for data extraction.

Business Intelligence Cloud Connect (BICC) | Ideal for extracting medium to high volumes of data. BICC is included in the Oracle Applications Cloud subscription and allows you to run an initial data extract, followed by incremental data extracts based on predefined BICC data stores for Oracle Cloud ERP.

REST API | Its use is reserved for low-volume, real-time transactions. It also provides efficient web services that are used to obtain real-time transactions or master data values to integrate with external systems.

Oracle Cloud pods use Oracle’s standalone database, which is elastic and supports Oracle customers’ varying data volume needs. However, two factors that make volume targeting difficult need to be considered: data extract query complexities and content vary; processes running concurrently at any point in time can impact data extract performance.

How to improve the performance of data streams https://gmpitconsulting.com.ar/en/how-to-improve-the-performance-of-data-streams/ https://gmpitconsulting.com.ar/en/how-to-improve-the-performance-of-data-streams/#comments Mon, 27 Mar 2023 19:15:10 +0000 http://gmpitconsulting.com.ar/?p=2067 Combining, shaping and cleansing data are key to preparing data to be analyzed in the best possible way. Learn some tips to speed up this process quickly and easily.

The expansion of data analysis in business is unstoppable. In recent years, the capacity to collect, process and analyze information has increased, spreading to practically all areas. Everything seems to indicate that this trend will continue to grow over the years.

One of the challenges for this situation lies in preparing a correct data flow to make the most and best use of the available information. Here are some tips to speed up the process of preparing data flows.

Use the right data | The more data you bring into your data preparation flow, the more computationally expensive it will be. A simple, yet powerful way to run a good flow is to only work with the data you need.

Identify flow targets | The recommendation is to break the information into separate flows to organize the work because it is not necessary for cleanup operations to live in a single flow. Individual steps or even entire flows can be put together later.

Leverage incremental update | With incremental extracts it is possible to set up flows to update gradually, which means that new rows will only be retrieved when data is updated.

How to apply data analytics in retail https://gmpitconsulting.com.ar/en/how-to-apply-data-analytics-in-retail/ https://gmpitconsulting.com.ar/en/how-to-apply-data-analytics-in-retail/#comments Wed, 23 Nov 2022 01:37:40 +0000 http://gmpitconsulting.com.ar/?p=2045 Learning from data allows retailers to obtain tools to increase sales and improve customer service. Here are some strategies to boost the potential of a business thanks to data analytics.

It is often thought that data analytics is only for companies with large IT teams. However, new technologies make it easier for retailers to access data analytics-related tools as well.

Learning from data allows retailers to increase sales and improve customer service by offering better products. Here are some of the reasons why data analytics is key to unlocking the potential of retail.

Bringing together disparate data | Lack of data is not usually a problem for retailers. The important thing is to get data that is in separate silos to blend together.

Data to powering business | With the right business intelligence tools, retailers can ask and answer questions about their own data in a matter of seconds.

Beyond real-time | Predictive analytics enables informed inferences about what customers will want in the next few hours, tomorrow, next week and next year. An accurate count of product inventory in your stores, warehouses or other locations supports a complete view of the data.

Four keys to projects based on artificial intelligence https://gmpitconsulting.com.ar/en/four-keys-to-projects-based-on-artificial-intelligence-2/ https://gmpitconsulting.com.ar/en/four-keys-to-projects-based-on-artificial-intelligence-2/#comments Tue, 11 Oct 2022 01:25:39 +0000 http://gmpitconsulting.com.ar/?p=2033 More and more companies are developing AI-based projects to boost their business. Driving a clear strategy is also part of the way.

According to a study by S&P Global Market Intelligence, nine out of ten companies that adopted artificial intelligence in their businesses began developing their first project in the last five years.

Although in many cases these are incipient projects, more and more solutions based on artificial intelligence are being developed. But success also comes from a well-thought-out strategy with clear objectives.

  • Balancing expectations. Determine which problems can actually be solved with artificial intelligence.
  • Choose the right types of projects. Explore potential project outcomes before crafting complex data science work.
  • Set teams up for success. Making a change with a radical impact on work routines is only accomplished with the team in agreement.
  • Start small and iterate. Create something that creates value even if it is a very small incremental improvement.

Future-based decision making is the key to the next business and an artificial intelligence-based approach from Tableau is a gateway. It is a platform for teams to easily understand how predictions are discovered and why they are relevant.
